Kotwal Jaiprakash Pathak in the Ps Hata area: on the pretext of taking him to the birthday party, friends had kidnapped the young man in the greed of money. The kidnapped friends had called on the youth’s father’s mobile and demanded a ransom of 20 lakhs and thought that even if they get four to five lakhs, it will be fine. But the police came out faster than the kidnappers expected and within 24 hours, revealing the incident, arrested the four kidnappers who carried out the incident.

Sandeep Gupta, son of Narad Gupta, a resident of Indira Nagar Mohalla in Hata, was kidnapped by some people on the pretext of attending a friend’s birthday party party on June 17. Calling the kidnapped youth and other mobile numbers, demanded 20 lakh ransom from the father of the youth.

The next day on June 18, the Hata Kotwali police registered a case of kidnapping against one named and two unidentified persons. While disclosing the incident on Saturday, SP Sachindra Patel said that four teams of police had been formed to recover the kidnapped youth. Police teams showed promptness and recovered the kidnapped Sandeep safely within 24 hours.

The police team included Hata Kotwali, Thana Turkpatti, Vishunpura and SWAT team, Manish Prajapati resident of Mohan Patti police station Mahuadih district Deoria, Kalyan Singh alias Doctor, Nagendra Singh resident of Lohajhar police station Ahiroli Bazar and Akhilesh Kushwaha, who carried out the incident from different places.

The arrested kidnappers have told during interrogation that Manish Prajapati and Neeraj Singh used to live in Sandeep’s house with a rented room a year ago and these people were already acquainted with Sandeep and his father. In the year 2020, a school was started at Jai Maa Durga Academy Jhanga by Manish Prajapati and Neeraj Singh. But due to Corona, the teaching work was stopped and they needed money.

Neeraj Singh and Manish Prajapati had full faith that if we kidnap Sandeep and demand 20 to 30 lakh rupees for ransom, then we will give only four to five lakh rupees and will not tell the police.

Undoubtedly it was a challenging and big event. The police teams formed for the recovery of the kidnapped youth and the arrest of the kidnappers worked with dedication, utmost diligence and dedication. As a result of that the kidnapped youth was recovered safely within 24 hours and the kidnappers were arrested. For this, the police team has been rewarded with a cash reward of Rs 25,000 from the district level.
